Wire EDM uses a conductive wire as an electrode with the goal of cutting the profile of each individual component, according to different needs. It is a process that is based on the ability to modify a material using electric shocks. This technology is used for metalworking, as wire EDM is only effective on conductive materials, such as metals. Wire EDM machines are exponentially more precise and offer greater versatility, speed of execution and reliability compared to traditional profiling.
